While I sympathise with your seat problem - I guess that you must keep a very clean car to conclude that dirt cannot be a plausible explanation for your trouble. I'm no expert but that is as much as I can tell from the lack of information in your post.

 

I suppose you know what's going on with your seat so could you kindly enlighten us in case we come across the same issue that we may not get 'smoked'.

Yr ride is c coupe too? Till now has not been resolved? Afew members having the same issue but manage to get it resolved. Care to share more details?

My last memory seat failure was in may and April. Just did my serving at pandan loop last week, the tech just erase the.computer memory before the SA can review and see the problem. This is what they told me Touch wood till.now. Has been working well

The seat failure very common yet hey behave like so blur:

"enginner need 3 days to check, and 3 Days to oder spare"

 

Hello got alot of cases already all same defective part WHY CANNOT ANTICIPATE?

 

Jet engine got one particular part always prone to fail Co. order a lot o spare standby.

Very common issues. Happen not less than 15 times in 8 months of ownership. Sent back for whole day check for 3 times. Problem always stays. Maybe we can do a list of who is having this issue,

 

Then at least we know how serious this is and maybe make some noise soon.

They don't change the defective part but use chewing gum and duct tape [like Mcguyver] to repair then send back on line.

 

Coupe is considered risk as rear pax cannot evac -thats why we pay additional insurance.

 

Seat not able to operate is increasing risk and liability to C&C.

Mine is a Coupe PI. But facing same problem. Passenger seat has a habit. Morning ok, afternoon 50% risk, night time 80% risk of dead. I can say, ALMOST everyday will have if I check everyday.

 

Arranging a time soon when doing servicing to ask the workshop to help me update the firmware to see if will solve the issue.

This is what happen to me:

 

After parking I take key out of ignition -everythng goes dead right?

 

Next day drivers seat cannot move and 'locked' in foremost position!

 

Chest pushed against steering wheel and Knees crushed against Binnacle,elbows bent while driving..

 

All the Audi drivers looking at me and smiling!
