I'm new here. Finally decided to buy my very first Merc   Been saving up so long for it to fulfil a childhood dream, when I sign on the paper yesterday, really feel like very very happy!

 

Browsing through the forums, really a lot of friendly people here. I was very worried that Merc owners are very "hao lian" and I cannot get good advice seems to be unfounded.

 

Hope to learn from everyone here about how to take care of the car, things to look out for etc. Me is poor man, so don't give me expensive tips k? I don't want to splurge unnecessarily, but if there are necessary expenses, I hope to know about them too and plan for them.

Currently my ride has a gps and front camera, which I installed with the help of a friend. Basically we DIY everything so that we tap on the wires directly instead of through the cigarette socket. I am thinking if I want to move these 2 over to my new ride, can I still DIY or will it void the warranty? Many thanks again!
