If you are looking to replace your speakers, I suggest you check with you audio shop. They should have a better recommendation.

The stock tweeter mounting hole/housing is pretty small. If there a particular speakers you are looking for and doesn't fits into the housing, you can customize it and also allow better positioning. Some use POD which needs drilling on pillars.

This a customized mounting.

frankly, I don't believe changing the tweeter alone will makes any real improvement. Why not just stay stock? They are pretty good already actually.

Looking at several option and staying stock is one of them. Currently i have a full active 3 way in my current ride. Be getting the W204 in 2 weeks time so planning stage now. Objective is stock look with great sound. Cheers!

I had similar thinking previously. Then you should consider 2 way active.

The reason I went with a 2-way active setup so there is no need for a mid range speaker.

Dashboard width area for W204 is already small. No pods and drilling on pillars needed.

My tweeter is 28mm or 1.1". Good enough for me.

I'm using a12" slim sub. I suppose the latest W204 already come with sub behind?
