Just came back from 3200 km trip solo self drive from South to North in NZ, rented 2012 RAV4 2.4l in South Island and hate every inch of it from handling to nasty cheap and creaky interior and Highlander 2012 3.5l V6 at North Island kindly like it but drinking petrol like sh*t 1 litter 91 grade is NZ$2.20

The southern parts scenery is stunning, North island just so so.

Driving around UK-Scottland is in my bucket list......

 

Pancake rocks in Punaikiki, there is blow hole as well there but the swell is not high enough to create big splash.
