Advice Mercedes-Benz C180 CGI

Just like to check if 2010 abovementioned car worth buying.

Is this car under power or any related issue.

 

I really have no idea on benz. I am currently on 320.

 

Will like to know before i decide to make my search

it's in compareable to the current bmw 316.. as both 1.6 litre... hp for the c180 cgi is 158, which easily can be tuned up to 180+ within 30 mins, with the help of a t-box.

spacious, lesser problem compare to the old bm.. mai to liao.... go trade in ur 320 ba...

thanks, but i keep hearing friends telling this C180 dont buy, no resale, no power. not worth buying as C&C always come out cheap deal on C180.

How about Avantgarde and CGI comparing? Is it one 1.6 and 2.0 different? Which to chose. what to take note when i get this car

Hmm, Avantgrade is like sport edition package for bmw. I think u are asking the diffs engine between Kompressor vs CGI. The latter is turbo where there are 5 gear and 7 gear (2011 end onwards). Come to our gtg and ask all u like or do a search as these are common questions.

when is the next outing and where? By the way, i know C180 some are 1.6 some are 1.8

 

Is both ok to purchase.

Check out the event thread as there are alot of activities. Tml there is one lou hei dinner do come and join us and ask all u want as there are Kompressor, CGI -5/7 gear sedan model for u to check it out. Be nice to the owner they might let u test drive too. My fren say one.

ur friend bo update la.... the old c180 is c180k... compressor, supercharged. 5 gear, fuel-com wise abit high... this model can compare to the previous bm's model like the 318, 320... same technology era, also comsume fuel alot, also problem abit more....

 

nw all come out new model liao... diff...conti car, dun have this issue of "no resale" ba...

"no-power" ...ermm... in the market 1.6litre car, hw many car give u 158hp(stock)? if yes 1.6litre give u more than 158hp, comfort wise, do u get the same as the c180? vw cars most of them 1.4litre nia, can squeeze out quite alot power also... so ask urself, which direction u going... it's just a weighing scale.

 

can buy la c180... if u wan something more, to compare against those 2.0litre one... go for the c200 lor. same thing throw in a t-box it'll pass 200hp easily... price....less than 2k(t-box)

A year 2010 C180 CGI is a 1.8L turbocharged car.

The 1.6L turbo ones appeared on Singapore road at about early last year. Before that, it was the 1.6L kompressor.

for a 2010 model, u wud want to look for a 1.8l cgi 7-speed.

I think the 7gtronic is not available for the 2010 C180 and C200. It was only 5 speed until mid 2011 then the C180 had the 7gtronic for the facelift model.

Don't mind me steal the tread abit, is it more worth it to get a 2010 C180 CGI as compared to C180K?

I'm still v confused w the difference but need to make a decision by 23rd Feb

The 2010 c180 cgi is the 1.8l turbo engine. Much better than c180k. OMV also higher.

My take is go for one with 7gtronic, never mind if its 1.6 or 1.8L. The kompressor is good enough, so a turbo is not that necessary. The key issue is the 7 speed makes the Car moves very smoothly compared to the 5 speed.

Btw, on the fuel consumption the 1.6L Kompressor can go 600km on full tank...

Agree on the FC of 7 speeder. My first tank over the cny manage 680km on 58 liter of petrol. That is about 11.7km/l.

Nope!! 1.6 mah FC is better u shld know why.
