Bro, from the symptom u described, I dun think it is the motor problem. Most likely is the switch. I suppose it is the driver side window? So I guess u dun hv to worry that the window will drop down by itself. Relax, enjoy the CNY holiday! Cheers!

It happened to my previous beemer too.... This time is the front passenger side... I remembered it's called window lifter or something like that...

How old is yr ride? Bmw hv this issue too, there is this freelance guy on mobile can fix this problem. Lost his contact liao!! The bracket frame hold the window gives way if you hardly used it. Not sure mercs is having the same problem or due to the switch. If switches just get it replaced will do. Keep us update!!

Bro, when I tried wind down the window, Theres a very loud 'thug thug thug thug' sound... Like metal wiring entangled. Then try to wind up, kenna stuck... Got to do it a few times before it goes up... That was yesterday... I wont wanna touch it till I get it fixed after CNY.. Hehe...

Means the window frame bracket up lorry. Infact u can pull it up manually.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Ok guys, finally i got it fixed.... I drove to a workshop and they quoted me $500+. Then I called Golden link to ask for the part. Its the window gear or something like that... Cost $220. Was about to go collect it, and just nice called my friend who sells car, who recommends me somone who repairs power window... Its the wire that snapped. Took 2 hours to repair and cost $200 only!
