35k Service at CnC, previous owner has not serviced since 9km mileage

Hi forum folks,

I took delivery of a pre-owned 2010 C200 CGI a few weeks back at 35k mileage. Wanted to send the car for servicing before the warranty period ran out, but could not obtain service records from CnC except that it has been serviced by them before. To my horror, found out that the last service done was nearly 22 months ago at 9km, and really surprised that the ride and engine sounded fine when I tested it (maybe attesting to the build quality of MB)

Question here - anything in particular that I should be looking out for? I'm booked for a Service B, but I want to make sure that there are items I should worry about to avoid any permanent damage to my car, which CnC may overlook.

Rear tyres seem more scuffed than the front so I'm probably going to just change all 4 for safety's sake before sending it for inspection.

Thanks for your help in advance

Service A is recommended at about 15k km...& now that your present mileage is 33k km (assuming that it's not tampered), is about right for Service B. This service is very comprehensive, be prepared to pay about $1200. The previous owner may have under utilised the car for the past 22 months. Frankly, I highly doubt it

I was quoted about $940 incl GST for service B. Will be picking up the car later. Thankfully no major replacements needed, even brake pads etc are still in good order.

Tried to get CnC to check for the left veering issue, but the SA is blaming it to the fact that my rear tyres are older and more worn then the ones in the front so he is unable to get a proper alignment etc done. He asked me to return once the tyres are changed for the alignment.

I should be able to get this alignment done at any decent tyre shop right? Anyone tried Autokinetics?

Highly possible servicing was done outside - don't know if mileage has been tampered with. That's the risk buying a pre-owned car, as long as proper inspection and due diligence are taken, can't be 100% sure unless you know the previous owner. The Lemon Law helps give some security though

I was told by a friend that Mar-see-lee mileage cannot be tempered permanently once battery terminal remove and put back, all the real data is revealed.... Wonder if this is true...

I no money to pay CnC $1000. Need to save this money for a C63 grill :)

Service B at 30k km is not much of a major work, so it's ok to do outside.

Interesting! then after 45km will be outside workshop too? 60km back to See&See? I m asking coz i want to save up for C63 bodykit.

u r not alone!!
