Did you tilt the mirror down in the first place? You got to adjust the mirror tilt down at reverse gear. Do remember to set the mirror at left side all the time else it wont work. Try it!!

i adjust it in P, then after adjusting, just hold the M and any of the "arrow" button u used to adjust the mirror for about 3 seconds, you will NOT hear any sound of confirmation like a beep, but if the mirror doesnt move, means it is memorised.

Then put to D or any gear, a few seconds it will go back to your original memory setting. Then try R agin, this time it will tilt down to your setting earlier :-)
