Hi Gurus here,

Any one know if we can fit the C63 Steering with Paddle Shift on a basw 1.6 CGI C204 that has no paddle shifts?

I don't think its plug and play due to the paddle shift parts.

Hope to get some advice here.

Cheers

Can. I did but need to do some work to get the paddle shifts working at AutoSpritze.

Yup, around that price range. That is if your existing airbags are compatible with the C63 steering wheel. If not, it'll set you back another $1800.

Anyone knows if the airbag from the standard basic steering will fit? Thanks

The facelift W204 steering wheel airbag should be compatible with the C63 AMG ones if you have the Avantgarde trim.

Wow, then it's better just to get the AMG Package from C&C in the first place?

The AMG kit paddle shift steering wheel is slightly different in design from the original C63 AMG steering wheel.

Differences:

AMG Package/Kit

1) Only the bottom of the steering wheel is flat.

2) The shifters are black in colour

3) The shifters are much smaller and are hidden nicely behind the wheel. (Nobody will know you've paddle shifters)

4) Normal rounded sides

C63 AMG

1) Both top and bottom of the steering wheel is flat.

2) The shifters are aluminum

3) The shifters are much larger and protrude out from the back of the wheel.

4) Grip on the side of the steering wheel is more contoured to fit your palms.

5) You get to tell others you're using authentic AMG equipment.
