Getting Rims for B klasse is tough in Sg

Recommended Posts

Went to a few dealers ard sg and found only 3 rims that is able to fit my car. 2 from HRE and 1 from RM (both 17"), even AMG model does not even have it. PCD 5x112 and 49 offset is so tough to get in sg. I also found out that my friend's ride (Citroen C4) also has this issue. Guess uncommon model has lesser choices. :thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd:

Did you go to the bigger shops like Southeast, Leong Seng? Your rim size is actually pretty common. Doesn't have to die die be offset 49. Plus minus of 5 is perfectly normal.

Any specific rims that you are looking for? You maybe able to get very good deals from owners looking to upgrade from stock rims, check out the buy and sell section.

Did that liao... fingers too slow to react. :(

Is it possible to paint the caliber?

Yes it is, I'm considering it at this moment.

Saw a B Class in Frankfurt with black rims and red painted callipers.

Initially I thought you posted your car pics... So have you found the rims you've wanted?

Calipers can be painted red, damage isn't too high as well. Check with your spray painting shop for more info.

More info please.. Like how and where...

I was just talking to BM about this yesterday. Told me he also sprayed the calipers of his old Tuscani, recommended me his spray workshop and after spraying, can go to his decal shop to decal "AMG" or "Mercedes" across the calipers to complete the look. When he did it (spray) a few years back, damage was $150, and downtime was only 2 hrs. The spray shop didn't even need to remove the calipers, they removed the wheels only, wrapped the surrounding parts and sprayed the calipers. Damn tempting, actually plan on visiting the spray shop today but no kakis.
