EP Tyres - Accelera PHI

CHT

Recommended Posts

Hi All, I recently bought a 2008 E200K which came with R18 Yokohama tyres that were quite worn. The dealer threw in foc replacements (used but still with decent thread depth) from an Indonesian brand EP Tyres, model Accelera PHI. Trawled the net and found that this brand is classified as budget tyres with mixed reviews. As I'm not familiar with this make, would appreciate advice from anyone in this forum who have used this model of tyres before. Thanks

Bro, hope you don't mind me saying this...pls change these tyres. These are very low quality budget used tyres...what more do you need to know?

The 4 patches of tyres on your 4 wheels are what is keeping your ride in contact with the road!

Dun save on tyres for you & your passengers safety!

Second that.

Better not to save on tyres, get a good set of shoes for your ride.

The safety of driver, passengers and all road users is top priority and of utmost importance! :D

Mercedes AD in Indonesia use GT Radial. You can check out this brand.

My colleague has these for his Civic. So far so good. Tires are grippy enough, quiet too (but it's too early to tell as the tires are still new.)

GT Radial used to be the OEM for Michelin, think now Michelin owns 20% stake in that company based in Indonesia. I used GT Radial HPY tires before on my previous ride, cheap and good for those who are not so "branded conscience"
