Ha, but stock ICE CMI, so this time i spend a little bit only to just upgrade a little bit.

Lol, the "little" will always snowball to Something much bigger. Luckily, last time my kakis all audiophile siao. They spent like easily 20-30k on their Jap rides, when they get sick of their stuff, which is pretty fast, I will pick the durians....thus I spent much less then I would have.....lol

$20-30K quite conservative when getting into competitions even though typical setups are quite the same.

A good HU, Processor with time alignment, 3 way active front, a 12" sub, no rear-fills and a few amps to go with it.......TKB or Kum Si Maw....kakakaka

Agree Unker, easily in the excess of $4x,xxx for competitions, but IMHO, not all about the equipment, it's the tuner, seen many expensive set-ups sound on-par with my much cheaper set-up, thanks to my kakis. But then realized, actually hor, I can't really tell the difference leh (until people tell me, you sound tok kong, how much you spend? Really ah, I don't know because my friend help me to set-up one), so malu. They will spent many hours just tuning my car (i wait until sian they still dont want to stop. I think they are obssesed liao.....) After that, i toned down and eventually stopped. Saved lots of $$$. Not my forte lah.

I was advised that spare tyre compartment is too hot and lack ventilation. It is indeed quite hot when I check it myself.

So I'll be putting my amps behind rear seat.
