Ya...we will slowly feed you poison until you are dieing for it.

I am dieing to have the new C-class.....but resistance is still strong to repel poison at the moment. Wonder will it still last in July?

Hi

Just upgraded mine today to 18". Check this thread out. I have all the information including right tyre size and offset. Generally, it should be

The original is (in my case), in others it might be 205/55-16 both front and rear.

16x7.0 offset +34 205/55-16

16x8.0 offset +30 225/50-16

Upgraded to 18" (follow the SLK55AMG wheel size)

Front 18x7.5 offset +37 225/40-18

Rear 18x8.5 offset +30 or +34 245/35-18

Hi Thomas,

This is the design that i am looking to buy! sui!

how much u paid for it? and where to buy?

tks!

Which one? the single piece like mine or the 2-piece like the black SLK?. I paid about RM8500 for the single piece style IV(rim only). I guess the 2-piece should cost an extra RM2000. I bought in JB since I am there. ;) But I think Singapore might be cheaper.

Hi,

Does anyone know what is the offset that can makes the tyres flush with the fenders for my SLK, especially the rear tyres?

may i know what is "tyres flush with fenders"? :)

thanks!

Hmm if you want the "flush" look you would probably have to roll your fenders. Different styles of rims will have different offsets so I think it would all depend on what design you are settling for.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I will be getting the new facelifted SLK 200 soon. The first i will do is to upgrade my rims to 18". Currently, i am looking at the DPE rims - R series.

Can anyone advise me if the rims and tyres specifications below are recommended for the SLK 200?

Front 18x8 235/40-18

Rear 18x9 265/35-18

hey champwhite,

I have the SL short antenna.... just buy and screw it on....

however, the remote will not be as good as the long one... well, just that you need to point(line of sight) at the short antenna when you try to activate anything on the remote key...

you still want?.... looks nice though ... i can sell to you.... hee hee
