Tyre tread pattern on same axle

Is it ok to have different tyres with different tread pattern on the same axle? Size are then same.

If u changing both brandnew why not? Yr concerns is it the car will move from different direction? Or the tyres wear out rate issue?

I have a puncture in one tyre side wall but could not find the same model to replace. I am changing one tyre, the other existing one is used 3 mths only.I was told handling will be a problem, such as grip and braking. I thought the tread was only to filter water out. Thanks

Bridgestone RE050A. I called a few tyre shop, most told me agent don't bring in this model anymore.
