I could think of a romantic setup - star gazing with the moon roof - that is if you can find a location dark enough in Singapore.

that one is easy. plenty of places to do that. :3some:

north east....

anyway malaysia is just a short drive away.

Its really cool interior. Those who is "environment-friendly" driver, should give it a try. Start engine WITHOUT ANY SOUND.

i think when driving also without sound lei...that means you need to relearn how to cross the road...

Toyota's President Akio Toyoda has said the automaker is in desperate need of an excitement injection, and here's the first dose: the Toyota FT-86 Concept.

Inspired by the Corolla-based AE86 sports coupe of the '80s, the FT-86 concept was designed by the automaker's ED2 styling studio in France and bears a remarkable resemblance to the FT-HS concept shown at the Detroit Auto Show several years back.

Since it's a "concept," Toyota hasn't divulged much about the FT-86 yet, but we do know it's powered by a Subaru-derived 2.0-liter boxer four sending power to the rear wheels. Toyota focused on keeping the weight down to improve handling and, according to one source, the platform is unique to the concept. The engine sits lower in the engine bay to aid aerodynamics while keeping the center of gravity in check, and the overall dimensions of Toyota's new 2+2 are 163.78 inches long and 69.29 inches wide, with a wheelbase of 101.18 inches.

After the FT-86 bows in concept form at the Tokyo Motor Show next month, the production model will be shown sometime next year with sales beginning sometime in late 2011 carrying a sticker price somewhere north of $20,000.

The 86 is confirmed....

http://motoring.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story/A1Story20111128-313161.html

Toyota Motor Corp unveiled official pictures of its new 86 coupe on Sunday.

The upcoming 86, a compact rear-wheel-drive sports car, is scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2012 and will be displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show in December.

It takes its name from the AE86 Corolla Levin sports car that it was based on. With a 0-100kmh of just six seconds, industry observers said the carmaker is hoping that the product will change Toyota's image with drivers.

Measuring 4,240mm by 1,775mm by 1,300mm, the sports car is a combination of efforts from Subaru and Toyota.

It has a horizontally opposed engine that can produce 200bhp with 205Nm of torque and is paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or a special sports-driving six-speed automatic transmission that comes 'with the feel of a manual', Toyota said in a press release.

To give the rear-wheel driven car a sporty handling and ride, the engine is installed front mid-ship.

With a top speed of 230kmh, the car will be priced to a college graduate's starting salary to attract young buyers, Bloomberg quoted Toyota's chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, as saying.

Inside, a three-cluster meter built around the tachometer has been designed with particular attention paid to display placement, markings and typeface to enhance visibility and readability during sports driving.

The sports car also aims for some practicality.

Its rear seats can be folded down to create a luggage space that can accomodate two golf bags, or as Toyota said, 'four sports wheels'.

And it will still be fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly as a 2-litre saloon, Toyota said.

The Tokyo Motor Show will be open to public from Nov 30 to Dec 11.
