Hi bro, just to check, I heard that once you install the Fiscon BT unit, the 6 disc changer can't be used anymore?  It would be such a shame cause the flipping/sliding of the changer looks really cool, appreciate your feedback, btw, mine is a W211 E200K (2008), thanks.

Was told by our site sponsor that the Fiscon use the same port as the CD changer, hence if I want Bluetooth streaming than I have to give up changer unit.  Anyway it's ok, I have drop the idea, no harm done, thanks.

You can use it without the bluetooth audio streaming.
Doesn't affect normal bluetooth phone operation.

That way, you can keep your changer.

That's too bad, appreciate your sharing, I'm now looking at MO-S1-B offer by EleBest for $800, Max would let me know if it's workable for my E200K W211, keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi all, just had the Viseeo MO-S1-B installed at Max's workshop.  Max's service is good and he do the installation himself even at 8.30pm, we finished at about 10pm.

 

The unit worked as it claimed, except the steering wheel control button does not work  

 

Going back to Max tomorrow to solve the problem as he is calling the Taiwan office, stay tuned for update.

Latest update, Viseeo MO-S1-B HQ in Taiwan now claimed that for the steering wheel button to work, I need to go back to MB and get them to do the new coding.  I called MB @ Alexandra and was told there is no such thing at all.

 

In conclusion, this adapter can work as claimed in their ad but does not work for the steering wheel button, somehow I get the feeling I was short changed by Viseeo.

 

To be fair, Max's service was very good, he even offered to take out the adapter and refund me the full amount, which I declined, I felt good just by hearing his offer, this guy is sincere

 

So now I can use the bluetooth phone feature in the car but not the steering wheel buttons

 

For bros who want to install this adapter in their MB, please please be aware of this issue.

AFAIK, other than original MB BT, only Fiscon Pro does what original MB BT does i.e not only steering wheel control but also display in your instrument cluster.

Now no choice since the unit is already installed, by the way, since I can't stream the music via Bluetooth, any advice on if there is any mp3 adapter I could install onto my existing head unit?  Thanks again.
