Perfectly stated/observed!

Classic/Period cars need to have those nice detail touches which immediately 'authenticates' them, even though the innards have been rebuilt. This particular 190SL has less than 8,000 miles on its rebuilt engine.

Cheers.

Same beigey interior as my current ride. I could get used to this........ :P

Get a couple of plush pile carpets heheheh.. one thing I really really love about the older models like this is the wide-as rear windshield with unobstrusive c pillars.

IT'S GOT A PULL UP STYLE HANDBRAKE!

Tony do the door seals on the drivers side look worn ?

I think autobahn still will take the crown on the most number of classic merc sold.

The 14" is really hard to come by. When I got mine it was with a W124 style multiple holes 15". Wanted to change to deep dish 16" 5 spokes but couldn't find so slapped mine with a 18" deep dish instead. Not exactly the look im after though but still better than the w124 rims.

Wah...finally saw a slc on sgcarmart.

Hahaha you beat me to it by 20 mins! ;D

I think this dealer has sold a number of classic Mercs before. I've been trying to find those 14-inch "knob" wheels for a long time. They are the originals for the early-series W126.

Damn Homer, u r sharp

Tony, read "ngeow" hahahahaha. No lah, frankly I just happen to notice these things coz I do abit of photoshopping. The trained reaction is to spot and correct any "problem" areas in photos hence it's become a habit.

These classic cars don't follow std depreciation ? If I choose to renew the COE and sell it say in 5 years, what sort of market value would the car hold ? I understand that the "beholder" of such a beautiful car would ultimately determine the final price but what about a base value ?
