Loan rebate is applicable for high interests loan only; if u want low interests, no rebate. Imo, no point lah, the so-called rebate is still coming from your pocket eventually.

Hi, esp prospective merc clients,

I went to test drive the b class with Ralph, and I must say tt Ralph is a patient, straight and nice young man. No airs, pretty comfortable with him. ;)

The SE at Kah motors was by far...terrible. Condescending and assuming. >:(

I'd recommend this guy too...heh...

(not so sure abt the b class yet, a little disappointed with the test drive...maybe try again later)

Hi bro, I did post something in the b class thread...

But generally, still a short test drive... what disappointed me as the rather strong vibration at idle. The not so quiet ride. Engine wasn't v peppy, but its ok for me. And also the lack of internal storage space...

Having a fair bit of market share, the SEs tends to be cocky.

Toyota SEs customer service getting better since last year. ;D

Mercedes & BMW SEs generally quite ok, went PML 3 times and C&C once for the past 9 mths and was served professionally by all the SEs but some didn't really follow up on enquires.

Cheers.

Ya, i agree with Kompressor.

Maybe not all KM SE cocky, but the one I encountered was (walked in, no referral)... was dressed in t-shirt/shorts/slippers haha! but so what....no mean I'm tt poor tt cannot afford car; kena looked down upon. >:(

A big diff from Ralph though, professional and sl veiled type of 'pushy' haha, but it was pleasant and stress free... even escort me outside to my car! Although one or two other SE did approach, but they were polite and professional. Maybe C&C got better training??

Dun tik Toyota SE customer service getting any better! Just last week, together with my wife, we drove Kangoo van to the showroom. Once inside the showroom, no1 come over to serve me! I need to go to the reception to ask for price list!!!

C&C's SE appears to be more well groomed and professional, the PML ones that i came across a couple of years back are no different from the sales people you see in sim lim square :P but maybe its different now, but i was also told that whatever car you drive to PML will also have a bearing on the SE's attitude towards you >:(

unless i am wrong, in KM, becos of the nbr of SEs they have, each of them take turn to be 'assigned' to walk-in customer.

Hence heng-suay if you kenna one that is bo-chap ... but on the other hand, if we are the SE and our turn come and kena browsing customer, then wasted opportunity lor.

But I feel that in sales, every customer is a potential opportunity. Even he not buy today, he might come back to you later or recommend someone.

I heard in TC/MI, once you test drive with one SE, you will not be able to close the sales with another SE ... ???

Borneo is equally well staffed ? :) Oh well I guess some locals don't mind bad service if the product appeals and is "good". Every customer is indeed potential opportunity!! I guess some shortsighted SEs don't see it that way.

bro, u must specific which C&C SE. there's KIA,MIT,Citroen. IMHO, C&C KIA SE is the worst groomed among all the C&C SE! :D :D

One more thing, simply dun understand y some sillyporean favour MADE IN THAILAND Altis,Vios so much. For a price of 50-60+ grand, can easliy get those MADE IN JAPAN(Lancer EX,COLT) ride!

oops...i meant C&C merc's SEs....hehe...my bad :P

in fact...i was very impressed wif C&C merc's setup, the SEs there are very attentive and carry themselves very well, there was one occasion when i was at the showroom wif my wife, we did not make any prior appointment and was just checking out the colour codes, but when one of them (presumably someone senior) saw us, he immediately assign someone to assist us. this might not sound much to some, but my other experience wif PML SEs showed likewise. That time i was checking some cars in their showroom with some frens, i remember a young female SE sitting nearby, didnt give a hoot about us, and on another occasion, a SE juz look at us, front top to bottom, probably sizing us up and perhaps concluded we are not worth the effort and din provide any service at all, but the experience wif PML happened some years back, maybe they have since improved.

i fully agree with you on this, cuz you really nv noe if someone is going to be a potential customer juz by judging by the way they look or dressed, its a chance any SEs muz take.

juz to share.....since i do not have any prior experience with C&C merc, so with no one to turn to, a phone call is all i made...and a C&C merc SE got my order juz by replaying to my enquiries....totally random...so you never noe ;D

i always go to C&C in bermuda, t-shirt and slipper. but then the SE is my friend. however, not all SE in C&C are good. my brother has bad experience. he went to C&C with his boss to test the S Class. his boss bought the S Class and my brother asked the same SE about the E Class. the particular SE told him that he will get back to my brother but he never did. When I knew about it, I told my brother to go to my friend and he bought the car from her.

what's wrong with wearing bermuda, t-shirt and slipper to view cars? if the SE judge us by our dressing, then they are going to lose a lot of business. as you can see, most of us attend the meet up in bermuda, t-shirt and slipper.

My relationship with Merc is the same....I sent in an enquiry for the A-class in the Merc website and one SE called me.

Since then, I have gone back to her when I changed to C-class. Some SE just don't see the long term benefits of serving customer to build up relationship for future business.

you are spot on bro!!! i dun noe why SE these days dun believe in building healthy customer relationships, they juz believe in a one shot deal and dats juz pretty shallow. building relations is all for the SE to gain, returning customers get the SAME car, and pay the SAME price regardless of which SE they go to. juz my 0.2c :)

Exactly... especially in such a small, saturated market like Singapore. How many "virgin" first-time car buyer can a SE hope to get?! Each customer that a SE can convince to stay with him/her translates into 3 or 4 or even more sales spread over his/her career!

wah say talk about service.

went to audi to check out their cars. the se asked questions like wat car i will trade in, etc. i told her hyundai santa fe. also told her tat i'm looking at 523 & e200. she then recommended me the a6, saying that its on par with those 2 cars. asked if i could test drive the a6 & she said tha their company policy for test drive is only given to those who are very firm in buying their car. wah liow eh!!! ask me if i am firm. wanted to tell her that my backside very firm ;D. but of coz did not lah. left the showroom & booked the e200 the next couple of days. stupid se lost 1 deal like tat. bloody kuniang.

eventually test drive the a6 through a good friend recommendation. the car is damn powerful but not so comfortable. so no regrets in getting the e200.
