Hi All,

Mine is a Pre-FL SLK 200, mod so far: Sprint Booster, K&N Air Filter, Spec II plugs, Pulley Kit, full AMG Kit plus AMG exhaust, 19ins rims and car is lowered.

So far mileage for full tank i am able to hit 550km (plus / minus).....

Cheers

Good morning ACSLK..... all those things you have put in does not literally gulp more fuel... in fact I am sure your throttle feel is lighter, with better plugs and filter, your fuel efficient will be better .... just that your 19"... will feel a bit slow in your start off.... is it light weight rim?

You can upgrade your supercharger and header to make it more racy..... I had that sort of mileage too until i start adding stuff in the car.....

Hi Gene,

Thanks and yes i know about the upgrading of supercharger, header, down-pipe and perhaps the inter-cooler.....my 19ins are not really light weight....but i've since took out the spare tyre as well to reduce some weight...........i've also done a spark plugs enhancer to increase the spark.....

So far so good with what i've done so far, of course can be better!!! By the way what are your mod so far?

Cheers.........

Wow! You must have felt soooooooooo good after each mod! Especially after flooring the pedal to test out your new power haha. Have you had any passengers complain about ride stiffness after installing your Bilstein coilovers? I have them on my RX-8 and they occasionally make long distance journeys quite uncomfortable.

Hi ACSLK! Welcome to Sgmerc! :welcome:

What are ur onboard figures ' wrote:

Hi Redhood,

What do you meant onboard figures from reset?

Cheers......

Oh, I mean the figure you get on your trip computer. it usually gives two sets of figures. One "from reset" and two "from start". It is probably a more accurate reading than our usual estimation of "number of kms from one full tank".

Wow, you guys have seriously modded rides. Mine is just a plain, fully stock 350. Hope to see you guys at the meetups...

Hi Redhood,

ok i will check the two figures and check it out........ours are 4pot that's why must mod to feel at least like a 6pot like yours....

I think high end carbon ceremic brakes way over kill and the feel is a little binary though. Normal brakes have a sort of progressive braking power, but high end brakes seem to only be "On" or "Off".

Yes ACSLK, it's around 255bhp and 350Nm.... with lots of stone chips on the bonnet.

Yes feel very shiok when I start off from 0 or any speed...... like what Kelvintan says must have fast stopping power ...... Before you start any mod, I would suggest to burn the first hole in the pocket..... by installing the AMG brakes..... I did it the wrong way and do the Kleemenn kit and header then i feel the stock brake really soft and longer distance to stop.... I am sure most of the guys can atest to it. So after the brake then i feel more secure and I put in the supercharger next. No problem in the stopping power... shorter braking distance than stock.

So with all this mods and power and the consumption is 11.6 or 11.8(town).... I am happy man.

Yes Sareve,

The coilover lowered the car to 2 fingers gap and the right comfort setting can be set from 0 to 9.(I think the bigger the number the more uncomfortable you feel)... I set to the lowest and still cannot accept it...... but Kelvin(MBM) further make some setting on the top of the suspension and now the ride is comfortable, still can make tight corners.
