Yo All !! me again

just collected my car this aftn

was driving back home .... and i am starting to have this deep sinking feeling

like they used to say, " if you have this feeling you had been screwed... most probably you had"

couple of things

1. the driveway in my house seems to have an oily patch

it wasn't there when i inspected the car 2x at the dealer's place

2. there was a funny jerk when i shift into R gear. Big Jerk force too

3. the drive felt fine up to 70km/h ... during the test drive, that was the highest speed i could reach due to traffic conditions

after 80kmh .... the car started to sway left and right

i have this deep deep sinking feeling ...... my heart is dropping to the bottom of the sea

:dblfk: to all dealers ! may they all rot in hell

Bro,settle all your problem liao? Is the floating feeling due to bushing? or something else?

 The last time I kena similar symptoms, it cost me 2+ grand to resolve. Then again, it may be just a simple case of replacing a worn bushing.......

How large was the oil patch ?

Leon, ur lucky ah!!

Last time i changed for a new bush, almost cost me my house, my cars, custody of my children!! :la:

yo yo !!

after days of agonizing ... i finally plucked up the courage to visit a pro Merz wkshop rcmd by one of the bros here

and very much to my relieve ... i am pleased to report that gear box and engine is certified to be in healthy condition

however... the rear coupling bushing is the root of all the tranny and jerking troubles + brake pads are a gonner too + a new fan belt is a must

last Qn remains un-answered .... why is the stupid car drifting left and right when drivng at higher than 80kmh ?

that will only be answered when the car gets hoisted up mid next wk

i am :pray:very hard that its only the dampers

but my gut feel tells me that the steering rack bushing is also :death:

haiz ... guess my IT show indulgences will have to kiv one more quarter liao

cheerios !!
