W205 Tyre/Rim Recommendation

Hi ,I have not seen any topics specializing in W205 rims/tyres and therefore created this topic.

 

I would like to hear the opinions of all the bros out here, reasons for changing/not changing your tyres/rims?

 

I am thinking to change however practically the cost will be one of the factor.

Are there any recommendations?

What you bros change to?

 

Traded in the original merc rims/tyres?

 

Which shop recommended?

 

I understand that RFTyres don't have a huge market in Singapore, thus it will not fetch a good trade-in price, is this correct?

The usual places will be Leong Seng and Top 93

I have only delt with top 93 and their services is good

I had changed at least 5 sets of wheels with him over the years since my BMW days

 

Based on my experience

a brand new set of 17 inch stock rim/ tyres usually fetch about 1k or 1+ K during trade in

If u wanna trade in, do it quick. I was quoted $700 after driving for abt 800km. Many tyre shops ard. U will be spoilt for choice, if budget is not a concern of cos!

I just replaced mine with P7 RFT 225 17" @$1040.

The RFT are really solid. My old tires took a few nails and I don't even feel it.No pressure loss. Only notice the nails after I changed the tires.

Sure. This design is a replica. Taiwan/China. U can find this @ Chen An Da.
