Hello everyone,

 

I just joined the merc community. Collected the car (S205) Monday after a long wait of almost 6 months since signing on the sales agreement. Still trying to get use to the car. I am just a normal car driver with no intention of any upgrading or anything. Looking for lobang to reduce as much maintenance cost as possible. Was driving a BMW E90 before this. Was tired of the maintenance issues which prompted me to switch. Hope that Merc is more reliable

Welcome!! Your model should be W205. Yes u make the right choice getting the mercs. U got it from See&See? If yes, just do the routine maintenance with them. Your ride will last longer than u think. Bimmer the usual issues are gear box slip, engine oil level drops so much so these has become a standard package. Personally i feel that bimmer the drive is so much better than mercs. The drive feel is not empty when u driving a bimmer.
