To renew COE or to scrap

Bros & Sis,

Need your advice and/or opinions.

I have a C200K (W203) and it has 235,000km on the clock.

I've had it for close to 10 years.

Should I renew or scrap it. My preference is to renew.

Everybody I spoke to about it says I should scrap it.

I'm worried about spares and other big ticket items after I renew it,

Please let me have your thoughts and why.

Thanks - in advance .

Bro renew it. No worries abt Mercedes-Benz parts it is easily available . I am trying to find one w123 to restore actually.

Like other bro mentioned here. It calculated risk. If there is major problem, you can just scrap it and get the residue coe rebate

Sell it, buy my 1 owner C180 Sport Edition, 120'000 km, renew the CoE and drive it for the next 10 years and more. Hahaha.

I think servicing a Mercedes is probably cheaper than any other continental car because there are lots of spares and expertise.

Just got my gearbox repaired and it drives like a dream again.

Whoa, the W123 is a rare sight these days unless you count those Malaysian taxis.  But I think the driving feel is too ancient now, no?
