Instrument cluster back-light defective

Hi all,

Need your advise/help...

I'm driving a E200K, W211, year 2008.

The back-light just died all of a sudden, all other lights are ok.

Sent to mechanic, tested battery & fuse, all ok, removed the panel, can't detect problem, they also scratch their heads.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

Will do, thanks, have a happy and healthy 2015 :)

Happy New Year 2015!

Spent last nite ushering the new year with camber53 :)

Told him your problem!

He had came across 3 cars but W204.

Go shine a touch light at your meter, think you should see your back light.:)

Cheers

I'll try it out tonight, have given Gregory my chassis number today.  Thanks so much again :)
