Alternator issue

Hi everyone,

My car couldn't start was batt issue. Changed the batt and now batt don't seem to be able to charge so the guy said it could be alternator issue and asked me to check with the workshop.

1) since my E250 is not under warranty anymore should I go to C&c to confirm what the issue is?

2) my 60k servicing is due to and the warning b5 due sign is out. Where do you guys recommend I do my servicing?

Would appreciate your advise on the above.

Thanks

1) i doubt c&c will not cover you even is under warranty for this issue. You can alaways go back to them and prepare to pay for it.

2) look for our site sponsor for servicing and the repair issue.

search for site sponsor camber53

This is a known issue when changing alternator.

Hope you can find back your old alternator.

I understand your old alternator has a control unit which should be removed and put on your new alternator

Cheers

I'm a MB Whore! :)
