these cables are very useful, I am driving a W204 2013. no steering controls but the control knob at the centre does everything!

my bad - i realised steering can control the songs. and best part, can show the chinese words. ( :

yes....but u have to select the music menu...the audio 20 screen cannot show Chinese word only the dashboard one can....the steering menu for tel can even select ur phonebook and call, plus show who is calling u.

To everyone contacting me about these cables, please ensure you have the media interface installed in your car or they will not work!

The media interface port can be found in the glove compartment or center console.

Yes, you can control an iPOD through the steering wheel buttons with the media interface.

for me i only use the USB cable.. sufficient already.. just pull songs into thumb drive and plug in.. thats it!
