Advice on rims and bidding of car number

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just bought a B180 from C&C. This is my 1st Mercedes.

Would like to get aftermarket rims for it, preferably 17"s. Any bro/sis here can advise which rims and tyres are good for my ride (any pics to show), where to get them and price range? My car comes with 16" rims and tyres. Is it worth to trade in them when getting new rims and tyres?

In addition, I would like to bid car number for my ride. Process wise I'm ok as I have read up the info on onemotoring website. Not sure if any bro/sis can advise on how much to bid for the numbers below:

1) 48

2) 4848

3) 81

4) 8181

Thanks,

ek3civic

Congrats on your new ride.

Rims and tyres are quite personal choices, suggest you visit the shops to view and select.

For number bidding, double digits should cost a lot more.

Just for reference, I was successful in bidding the number 350 at $1500 for my slk.

My friend got the number 1888 with a bid of $1888.

Hope it helps. :)

Hi mercc, thanks for your reply. I don't think all the rims are suitable for B180 hence my question. Would like to check if there are bro/sis out there driving the current model of B class and have changed their rims. If so, can get some ideas of what sort of rims are suitable and affordable?

Note your reply on number bidding. Thats great info which I will consider should I want to bid for it.

Thanks.
