Dent / Scratch

Recommended Posts

Good evening everyone,

I recently got a small ding on my bonnet /hood above my headlights. A small rock hit my car by accident and it left a mark.

Anyways i would just like to ask if anyone out there has a recommendation on where to go to fix this small dent and get it resprayed back because im not too sure about this.

Do you guys also roughly know how long will this small type of repairs cost and the time it takes?

Thanks in advance guys! sorry for the trouble (:

should cost a few hundred. As the bodykit shop normally spray the whole hood to prevent uneven paint.

normally 1-2days job?

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Yes at least require a day. The painter needs to patch the dent and respray the entire bonnet else matching the stock color is a challenge. Check out the site sponsor specialise in bodykit and ask for their quote.

hope you don't mind that I ride on your thread TS.

since we are on the topic of dents, any bros experience minor dents on the roof due to fallen branches? are there any fuss-free ways to "suck" the dent out or any pro-mercs dent removal shops to reco?

TIA!

roof is one of the toughest part to repair. You can try PDR, they should able to help you. I had it done once on my civic roof from them previously. Don't expect 100% restoration but should be good enough depending on the severity.

Contact Lye Design at AMK Auto Point. Uncle Lye is probably one of the best in this business. I have seen him doing "panel knocking" on a Jag using a Mallet, few "sifu" around with such skills.
