Organising stuff in car boot

Just curious, how do all of you organise the stuff in your boot? As I am tidying up the boot of my current ride, find that it is so messy, and there are things inside that I totally forgot about. 

 

Telling myself... Must be neater...

One way is to remOve yr spare tyres and dump all yr stuffs inside.

If suay suay really need the spare will be quite sian leh... But so far I only use it once, and it is for my colleague's car

In sg?? Nah a taxi to and fro will do. Concern is u travelling to boleh land.

Ya, man. Thanks for the reminder. Didnt occur to me that the stock spare wont be able to fit also.

Is there anywhere we can get a 2nd hand spare that can fit and limp back? Am concern about punctured in Malaysia leh.

I always have a pump in the car for puncture. Lazy to change, just pump and go slowly to the nearest tyre shop.

Mine come std as its a NGT model, no spare tyre.

i have dented a rim due to a pothole in malaysia in my previous car,

same here, stock spare didn't exactly fit bbk. a few mm too small. 

 

as it was a very dark road (some plantation/forest at both side) i didn't want to risk waiting through the night.

so after chop-chop replaced it with the stock spare i drove on

 

from a kong kong sound, to kiak kiak then tick tick, then nothing..

as a result a corner of the bbk was rubbed till it fit the stock rim..

 

not an experience i want to go through again

 

bro/sis who go malaysia often, better bring a spare with the correct size.

You may want to try some of those Tire-Inflator and emergency tire pump available in petrol station or Autobac.

 

This one from  http://www.slime.com quite similar to the Merc std ones.

tire inflator and pumps won't work if you have dented rims (like the pic below).

the damage i got from the pothole last time was similar to this. air simply won't hold.

 

 

another issue was bloated tyre after hitting potholes..

while my front rim was dented, my rear tyre was bloated.

i only realized it after i reached singapore. understand that it may burst anytime. thanked my lucky stars nothing worse happened further until i reached home.

yes, also wanna know what u guys use to organize your boot. i got 2 plastic crates (previously used to stack fruits).

but they keep sliding around till the carpet become like furry. put newspaper also got torn :-(
