Cannot start at Park (Gearbox giving way?)

Happy Easter

 

This morning cannot start on "P".  Have to switch to "N" to start the car.  

 

Then after a while, seem normal again.  Can start at "P"

 

Reversing also sounds rough.

 

Time to replace the gear box you think?  Where to get parts?

Someone told me this afternoon that it may be a gear "bross".  Also don't know what that is.
