Doubts on servicing to maintain warranty - Help please !

Hey guys, fairly new here ok first up some details on my ride:

 

Pre owned c180K FL C&C warranty bought from sime darby

Bought it at 9000Km milage

was told has been serviced and next service is at 21000 km

current milage 19800 Km.

 

I have dug up and read threads in the forum and wanna clarify about the servicing that needs to be done at C&C to maintain the warranty.

 

Qn. I read that only intervals of 15km has to be done at C&C so that means 15K, 30K 45K etc.

       But as in for my case, how? Do I take this 20K servicing to workshops like Mbm and autospritze and follow up the 30K with C&C?

 

PS: My service booklet is empty by the way...

 

 

All this is a matter of preventing a hole in my pocket just by servicing at C&C after reading a few horror storied from bros here. So could anyone please enlighten me? Thank you!

Welcome!! Drive yr car down to see&see and check whether the previous owner done the first servicing then ask them for advice when is the next servicing. Usually after servicing from see&see they will paste a label indicating the next mileage servicing at the driver's side top right hand corner. If u cant find it is ok ask them to check and advice. Nowadays all servicing is updated to the computer system no longer booket method. Go back to see&see so as to maintain the warranty else just head down to outside workshop to do a oil change for used car.

Whats yr ride YOM? Is it a sedan?

hi blackmerc! yea Yom is 2011 sedan. I have the sticker above which states 21k next servicing. So you're saying most probably the previous servicing would have been done at CnC? I wanna try out liqui moly eo and change out my air filter to k&n. pretty much thats about it. Batt check and standard 16 point check? so can i just do it outside for now and go back to cnc for 30k?

U got to go back to see&see to maintain yr warranty since the mileage is near 21k. Why would u want to do it by outside workshop?? Are u planning to give up the warranty? If yes, is yr call. Ask them to top up with liquid molly during servicing as for k&n filter u can get it change by outside workshop.

Riding on this topic. Does anyone heard of major problems with w204 after 60k mileage?

Thought of ditching the warranty by doing my 60k servicing outside.

Solar, from understanding the warranty is based on 20K per year or 60K or 3yrs, which ever comes first....so when your ride hits 60k, warranty may be over anyway.......

Seniors correct me if I am wrong.....

CnC warranty is 100 k km or 3 years.

alright so it means i can get cnc to do srvicing with my eo that i request? i know theres the online booking, but how to specify instructions? and express vs non express an diff in charges? thanks!

as i understood last time i enquired, not allowed.. only shell or mobil (more expensive), and you got to tell them upfront which one to use. otherwise it is by default shell. 

tell the SE when you meet him prior to the servicing.

 

no price diff i last time saw.. but express is only for simple job, not major servicing.

thanks bro.. mine still have 1 more year to go.. looking at the exorbitant fees cnc is charging for 60k, i am thinking if it is worth it at all to do it with them..

not to mention also the 2-days downtime
