Lights off when car stationary

Don't know if I am going to sound stupid. But is there a way we can have all lights off when car is park stationary at night with engine on? Seems like there is no off option on the car.. It's auto or to leave it on the parking light.

I understand your sentiments, the lights attract unnecessary attention and are a quite distracting when you are having a good time in the car. There are three options, 1. Turn off the engine and wind down the windows a bit, or 2. Go to the nearby bush, 3. Go to the nearest hotel.

ermmm turn left all the way.... cos mid is auto ma... right is low beam... left is small lights, further left is parking light left side and follow by parking light right side... so by turning left all the way, the lights will off lor..

I think parking lights have some lights also...

Parking lights will only be on when the engine is off. If you have the engine on - no external lights will show.

 

But do remember to turn the switch back to auto after you shut down as there will be no audio warning to tell you that the parking lights remain on.

You can turn all the way to the left. The parking light will not turn on with engine is on. The parking light will lights up when engine is off

what style - depends on mo-del.  S class width btw driver and navigator very wide so will have an issue...

My S class I can run engine w/o the light on....mine is the older S the W220....

Older MB regardless of model has the option to turn the headlights off, the new ones is Auto by default with no "official" way of turning if off.

Remember I tried before but forget its engine on or off.. Then realise I cannot have lights off.. Reason is not for run lion la.. My wife in car while I go pick my boy up.. Then the lights cannot turn off... Park in carpark lot but lights still on. Worry car opp might complain y this bugger have lights on and glare their eyes..

After seeing the answer.. I think highly I have engine off but radio still on back then..

oh erm ya, most of us here also not run lion one.

 

i left the car engine on while waiting for my old mother to finish her NTUC shopping.
