Speedometer reading not accurate

Hi all,

Just collected my car yesterday. Realise the speedo needle is not showing the correct speed. Digital speedo is 80, speedo needle can be 50 only. And the needle look lathagic to move. When cruising can drop to 20 when I am traveling at 70+.

Called my agent, say could be calibration problem. Will need to recalibrate. Anyone have such incident?

Welcome bro.. So far as i know, no bros here encountered this problem.. No worries, Since under warranty, throw back to CNC and get them to fix it..

Problem is mine is PI. Hopefully they know how to resolve it. I'm sceptical as the digital reading is ok. If it is a calibration problem, shldnt the digital one be having problem too?

Read on uk forum.. Needle not operating properly seems to means a change of the instrument cluster.

Yes changing of cluster is the only solutuon. PI car or not no worries apply lemon law

Haha.. Change car? Luv the car, just hope they can resolve it with not much hassle. Also realise my DRL have a crack with a hole!

mine is a bit off. like analog is 90, but digital is around 80. and i realise the analog speedo marking is mildly misleading. not the clearest or intuitive. can't really tell when i am at 110km/h.

Speedo done up by my PI agent. Was told they reset the system. Working fine now.
