Changing wipers

The wiper judder is most likely caused by the wiper fluid soap C&C tops up (at a charge) during your servicing. The "wax" sticks onto the surface of the glass causing it to judder. I've since stopped C&C from filling up my wiper water. Went to my regular groomer and told him the problem. He immediately knew what I was on about and washed the "wax" away. No juddering since then. I've been using OEM wipers since I collected my car.

FYI, this soap issue was first posted in another threat on SGMerc.

I think they move the same time leh.. But I think there is this function to spray only. So Wat I normally do is spray only. Then wipe and spray.

Just check the manual.. don have the spray only function.. Can direct me?

Anyone know how to adjust the aiming of the spray nozzles? now like shooting too low..

I usually fully depress for a wipe and spray then almost immediately do a half depress for a spray only so that I can catch the wipers on their way up.

What I don like is the spray is either too low or too late.. the wiper will be wiping dry dirty windscreen and this to me spoil the surface of the wipers.

I tried to DIY adjust the nozzle but seem not possible.. still aim low..

I know what u mean. I hate it when the wiper is wiping with little or no water too. Hmm let me test I resolve this. I Thot I resolve this by half depressing first. Or did I simply get use to it.

Any reason why the PIAA one is so much more expensive? I've used silicone wipers before in the past and they were not bad (did not require any change in 5 years) except that you would need to wait until the screen is sufficiently wet before turning the wiper on otherwise it will judder. Feels heavier also compared to the stock ones.

i'm replying again to this thread for the benefits of concern pple of the stupid effects of the wipers that casue jerking effects..

like all bro and sis... felt quite shit feeling over this... but that was 3yrs ago..

went for PIAA silicon wiper, problem solve.. it last me for the past 3yrs. =)

price was like $160-180 that time, only Autobacs carry. BUT... understand due to price wise.. not every bro and sis willing to spend that type of money on a pair of wipers. For me I think is money well spent.

i'm here to provide a alternative solution, after 3 yrs, I just change my piaa to a new silicon wiper.. but troublesome thing is Singapore never sell...

price wise, it's about the price of ORIGINAL MB wiper cost frm golden link... about $80-100 bucks.

u can buy frm here..
