Will operating my mid pipe be caught by LTA if undergo inspection??

 

Was told my some workshop that no way they can check...

Welcome!! Yes is illegally to mods yr exhaust system. No seller will say their products is bad. Is better you avoid any illegally mods during these few months as the white ant are playing hard ball. Experience one will able to detect whether you modded yr exhaust system or not from the exhaust sound coz C,E class system are quiet provided yrs is AMG class. As for power gain, nope infact you loss some of the low end due to lack of back pressure.

blackmercs is right. Your factory system has been designed and tuned to have a certain amount of backpressure for optimal operation. You are advised not attempt to chop and change parts without careful consideration on how it will affect the rest of the automotive system.
