Collected my W212 today...Guess what...

Collected my new ride this afternoon from Cnc then planned to install HID and dimmer for DRL. It was raining along the way and upon reaching the workshop, noticed that both sides "big small eyes" had water condensed inside the cover. Affected area was like 70% percent of the headlight. Did not install the lights and head home. Fearing that if I changed the lights, CnC might use it as an excuse not to replace the headlight cover as it was not authorized by them.

And guess what, the driver side window auto winding up also not working!!!

Sigh.....

Water condensations in the headlight is a norm for a new car. I suspect due to thorough washing using water jet equipment. Most of us got it and is a known issue and acknowledge by Daimler.

Window power issue too for a brandnew car?? Apply the Lemon law then :)

I am holding on to the installation of HID until this issue get sorted.

CnC might use this excuse to reject my claims.

I changed my headlamp once and condensation appears a day after i collect my ride (as it rains).

Went back to workshop and they have it fixed. I was told sealing not done properly. A year on and still ok. So i guess this is pretty normal.

My new ride also has loads of issues in the first month. But they eventually got it fixed.

They just change the headlights diaphragm.

Need to monitor if still have condensation

thanks for the update.

My fuel filler cap is malaligned and cant shut properly. so everytime I lock the car, the fueller cap will pop out and stayed unlocked. Unless I applied pressure and on the cap and then only lock the car.

heading to c and c to rectify it.

at the same time sort out the air  bubble on the tint.
