Car can't move

Hi,

Does any one encounter starting the car engine but the car can't move? Ignition is normal but the car start to tremble with no power & aircon. I'm driving a c180 kompressor 1.6cc from C&C.

Limp mode!! Switch it off and restarts the car and monitor. If persist send it back for medical check up.

What does limp mode means? As in what reason causes such situation to happen? Izzit normal for the car to be in limp mode? Or is a norm for Mercs to encounter such situation?

Means the car goes into safe mode as there are error in the system. For some while driving you will lose control of the trottle etc. The step is to immediately stop the car shut it off and restarts. Send it back to agent to do thorough check in the system. Is not a norm for stock car.

It's common for new stock car to have some error code. Even mine also has a few error codes when the diagnosis analysis is run on my new ride

But these error codes should not have caused your ride to be in limp mode.

Only after I let the car rest for like 15 minutes. The car worked perfectly after that! I didn't want to take chances, so I sent it back to C&C for them to check thoroughly. The car's still there now...

My W204 1.6T when slot in the key and tried to start ignition, all the lights on the instrumental cluster comes up, but car cannot crank. Turn off wait for 10 seconds then tried again. Then ok. Happened a few time.

 

I brought back to C&C to check, SA said no issue. Could be due to the safety feature - did not read the key, thus could not start the car. Have to slot in key, hear the "zert" sound then can start car. Just to share my experience. Not sure anyone else had this?
