COE Heading North??

Hi Guys/Gals, do you think the COE will be heading further up north?

Was comtemplating to change my180 to E-cab the last few month but hesitated due to the high coe..

Stupid right? To pay such a high coe for a car...

The current E200 Cab listed price was 289,888k and E250 was 308,888.... can't convince myself to commit yet..

Do you think the price will remain, drop or shoot up further?

My guess: CAT A will hover ard $80-82K and CAT B $95-98K till end of the year.

Prices next yr will be dependent on LTA's quota announcement in Jan 13 and whether are they further reducing the vehicle growth rate.

My forecast is COE will still head north for at least S$20K both for CAT A & B and then normalise at that level till the next LTA announcement on quotas.

I think from now till early next year, the price will still be high hor...

people changing ride for christmas and CNY....

Maybe should wait till next year, look see look see first..

Historically COE prices will dip in January as fall in demand due to end of buyers that love to haolian their new cars during CNY. That is usually the best time to buy if you are comfortable with the price point.

Was looking at the e cab more than 12 months ago when price was about 240K+. Even then felt it was too expensive. Now at close to 300K, it's just plain madness.

My pantry lady said will head north for sure but will drop during first quarter of 2013. Buy a used ecab instead of a brandnew one as newer model E cab is incoming.

Anyway, remember that buy high will sell high is not going to be buy low sell high. If the present price u are comfortable with just buy lor.

Used E cab 5 speed gearbox leh. Not cheap anyway.
