Iphone4 screen help please!

So basically i landed my iphone4 flat faced onto the floor.. This part on the top left corner chipped off, and the screen turned black. The lights still work, i still can receive vibrations and texts but it doesnt show..

I'm thinking it's the screen's problem.. Anyone knows if there's anywhere i can fix it for cheap..?

I once swapped my black LCD screen for a white one at one of those neighbourhood handphone shops. You can try asking those shops, price quotes I got ranges around $100+, but that was beginning of the year. Changing of the screen took around 30mins.

As long as you do periodical sync with your laptop, data should very much be intact. Further, if you are access your coy's server, no data will be lose as iphone is only serving as a conduit to access this info.

I called the repair shop, they said waiting time usually 2-3 hours per customer. If i want the express service, i'd have to pay $40 more for repairing to be done within 1 hr, which amounts to $130.

Doesn't make sense to me since they said they need time to disassemble everything. Like what!? *shakes head*

blackmercs, actually i was hoping for less than 100 and to be done on the spot? I have urgent contacts and messages to make that's why i can't afford to leave it like this for too long

Just go to those neighborhood shops to do, fastest. It doesn't take 2-3hrs to change LCD, that's BS!

There's a lot in sim lim, i replaced once at a shop in beach road army market cheap and food but now army market under Reno. The name of the shop is playurconsoles. i think they moved somewhere else.
