Rattling at D

Your mileage?  Might be low on ATF. Just my guess.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

My ride had the same problem during my second year.  Car vibrated even at N and P and rattle sound from the engine bay.  RPM looks normal though..

Send back to CnC to check but couldn't find the problem. And after 2 days of trial and error, they finally found out that my supercharger having problem.

Order a new supercharger from Germany and waited for 2 -3 weeks and finally get it replaced.

Now all problem solved!

Better send it back to the workshop to get a thorough check before your warranty over.

Just send me car this morning.

Same old story by See&See

First time hear this problem. Not ATF problem. Not engine mount issue. Not gearbox mount cause too.

Need to park car overnight at their workshop and they will call me back

Haha.

Collected the car

They just change the idle pulley. The SA told me they change the water pump too but it was not stated inside the paper.

Engine vibration is within normal range.

Just hope is not something serious as warranty period coming to an end soon

Bros, what are your rides? My FL w204 2013 have the same problem too. Left car overnight. CnC check n told Me probably gear box mounting. Not covered under warranty n told me est $180. WenT ahead with the Repair. However, problem still exist. In the end, they told me it's normal as the engine is vibrating n slightly brushing against the bonnet. Ask me to monitor. As it was near CNY period,. I just let it go since I have time for warranty.

Mine is FL c204 1.6L.

This is the second time for this problem. The first time See&See change the pulley too. Then the noise return back.

The noise only occur when I start car during the morning or end of the day. And the squeak noise is very loud during the low RPM. Once the RPM is stable the noise go away or the engine noise cover this squeak noise

Mine also approaching the end of 3 years warranty. Maybe we just belong to the small percentage that have this problem

See&See checked the engine and said no problem with engine.

Now See&See very strict with the mod that we did on our ride. They took photos of my rides and advise me that the system related to the mod I made may void the warrenty.

Lucky my ride only have this squeaky noise problem. The memory seat problem was resolved after they change both the seat ecu

and I plan to do my 60k servicing outside See&See

Hmm. Seems to be a common problem for FL c180. Actually quite disappointed with the level of service provided by CnC. They can't seem to find the fault nn rectify the problem. It's more like trial n error.

Surprisingly,My other close to 10yr Honda doesn't rattle like my less than 2yr Merc. :-(
