Upgrading Speakers on w204

Hi need some advice for those who have upgraded speakers. Recently been noticing the stock front speakers kinda cmi. Under heavy bass can hear crackling vibration from the front speakers. Not too sure its the housing or it's the speakers.

So my questions is, anyone upgraded speaker only, or have gone the usual full route of adding in amps and changing speakers as well and adding subwoofer.

MHO, the current stock speakers are actually quite good, especially after run-in. You will feel the difference.

Replacing them would not really necessary unless you are going full upgrade by putting in amps, processor and sub.

Depending on type of aftermarket speakers, the stock HU may not have the capability to drive them efficiently as compared driving stock speakers, hence may ended not sound as good.

Determine what you really want before deciding.
