new car

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

I'm helping my dad to choose a new car to replace his Lexus GS as its COE is gonna expire soon.

Now deciding between C class/5 series/new GS.

Can any owners out there tell me more about the C class, most probably the c200.

like comfort, fuel economy, maintenance stuff and reliability.

Thanks :)

yikes!

I made a mistake. i meant E class (E200/250).

In terms of price wise, all 3 are about the same (approx 250k+), but in terms of reliability.?

the lexus has performed almost perfectly for the past 7-8 years with no major problems.

a relative's beemer had many problems with reliability like doors cannot open and stuff.

Have not heard of any complains of mercs so far.

Door cannot open? That's quite dangerous..

Well go test drive all models you've short listed. I would go for the E class anytime

yup, in the end had to climb out of window to get out. soon after, he replaced his 3 series with a c 200.

looking for different views, and not just hear everything from the dealer.

might go for a test drive soon, but dad's kinda busy now
