Interested in an SLC

Hi everyone, I just joined SGMerc in the hope of finding my dream ride here and getting to know you old merc lovers out there

I've owned a 1989 w124 200E before and it was a solid, robust mile muncher. That was 8 years ago and now I'm more interested in the long swooping curves of the SLC coupe. Just love it.. still hunting for one in good shape and reasonable price.

I love reading your posts. They're a treasure trove of information and ideas.

I used to drive a mile muncher similar to yours. Had an '89 and a '91 in the family.

Hi Geeman,

Didn't realise that there were new posts here. I have a 1979 280 SLC, which is presently undergoing major nip and tuck work. Hopefully will be back in operation later this year.

Have a look at sgcarmart. There are always 1 or 2 for sale.
