Just to share with those with new brakes or new cars. I went through a very very painful lesson abt 1 1/2 yrs ago and only realised how it happened yesterday when I installed my bbk's. Do not underestimate the importance of bedding in your new brakes. http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm. I rear ended someone on my 20 mins old new Audi S4 travelling at <100 km/h. Slammed on the brakes and the car just didn't stop and continued slidding even though I was at least a car's length away
