Exhaust systems for W204 C180K

Hi everyone,

So I've just come out from a MB aftermarket specialist, and I was told that there are no aftermarket exhaust systems for the C180K. The LTA approved ones are meant for C200CGI and up.

Anyone knows any different from what I was told?

(I'm trying to eke out extra ponies from my soon to arrive 1.6l supercharged ride - air-filter, ECU piggy back and exhaust system was what I was looking for. There's this 'power pedal' thing for faster throttle response which I'm 50/50 about)

Gum siah for any words of advice!

my advise is to leave it and just enjoy the car... dont bother... its just a 1.6L... spending that amt of air intake + ecu + tuning + exhaust system.... its better off to just drop in a 1.8L kompressor engine.. at least u MAY look like 1.6L... BUT u are sure faster..

the amt of $ u going to spend on eke'ing out from that 1.6L is producing how much more power on wheel? i seriously doubt thats going to make u any faster... plus u void your warranty... and 'might' attract white ants...

Try out the sprint booster or power pedal thingy. Leave the exhaust system alone as there are no significance gain on hp at all. Provided u plan to go the illegally route then is worth considering. Another cheapo mods is to operate the exhaust to give the little pony gain & low bassy noise. Is not worth it & waste on yr hard earn money & end up more Angry old man. Yrs is a 1.6k rite, what u need is to improves the low end not the other way round. During the test drive did u floor it?? Is not moving much rite, so concentrate on the pick up & save the money go & bio the china chio bu at bukit batok!!

...you king of poison, some more got diary thread, and you ask me why I want to zhng my car? tooooooooo much lah! Actually, I floored it around bukit merah with its little inclines and rough roads, and low end is defn OK (reminder: im upgrading from a honda fit 1.3l auto with CVT trans). Was exploring if it was worth upping the hp a bit and now it seems all signs point to NO, and I'm OK with it! Just means more to spend on 18" rims!

Also, if you think bukit batok got chio bu, you should come down to bukit merah. Even betterer!

Sounds good but since yours is just 1.6L, u should consider if u want to upgrade the size of the rim because wider tyres would mean more petrol hungry... plus staggered means no tyres rotation... Just some thoughts to share...

for me i would spend the $ for entertainment n enjoy... dont forget the big 3 pointed logo already premium liao...

Also, if you think bukit batok got chio bu, you should come down to bukit merah. Even betterer!

i think u n blackmerc machiam chio bu scanner... lol...

Just one feedback on the sprint booster, it used up a lot of battery juice. I used to have this on my Civic auto transmission, when I added HID (which also increase battery usage), the car would sometimes stall. This happened even when I upgraded the battery from stock 45A to 55A. The car will stall when turn on the HID light. At the end, I remove the sprint booster, and no more car stalling problem. But, I have to say, the sprint booster really give the car additional pick up power, but will increase the car's fuel consumption.

Sprint booster does not increase HP of car or performance of car

the only thing it helps is to reduce Reaction time from the moment u step on the accelerator to the moment the car moves off.

it just magnify the signal from the Accelerator .

Remus has LTA approve exhaust around $1300-1500.

Bro is this for real? I am damn happy if this is true.

Anyone have installed this and have a sound clip of the exhaust note?
