IMHO

Bridgestone Touranza GR90 is the quietest low profile comfort tyres.

Low profile are usually performance Tyres & performance are not quiet!

Used the GR90 18" on my previous Audi A4 Quattro, 17" & 18" on my previous E250.

20k km still quiet!

Just to share on this topic ....

Have used CSC3, Dunlop Direzza Dz101, Michelin PS3 and presently CSC5.

IMHO, the quietest was the CSC3. Good straight line performance, dry or wet. Not the best for handling though; feels soft on hard cornering and a little iffy driven hard in the wet.

Just sharing (noise level of tyre differ by individuals)..I love the Goodyear F1A2.  Its all weather, soft wall, high thread wear and quiet.  Trying out the CSC5 now.  Quieter than the F1A2 but not as grippy IMHO.

I change mine every 30k but sometimes 20k. Never want to keep them to Max. Safety first. Kiasu? Perhaps kiasi..lol..but yes, I'd also like to hear from other merc kakis on what Mileage to max out our shoes. More the better so we can average out. Diff drive style diff wear I guess. ..

Currently running in CS5. Grip on wet surface is disappointing. On dry is ok and pretty quiet.

Agree, I have Goodyear F1A2 on my other ride. It's fantastic (but downside is the price 265/40/18 was at $465 per corner).  I bought the F1A2 last year and the review at that time demonstrates F1A2 as top for Rain, Dry, Comfort and slightly low rated on quietness.  For the Merc, I was drawn to CSC5 for the quietness.  Guess we'll have to control ourselves in the rain.

I only paid $420 max for my 19"... and I'm already saying it's expensive. . $465 for 18" means... u were robbed... in the daylight. ..

Understand :(.. that was beginning of last year..I checked.  Now 265/35/18 - $370 and 265/30/19 - $380.  Dropped a lot..
