Went down to order but realised it was a waste of time as I can use my service credits to pay for the item...so could have done it by phone.

I got the clips out but the handle is still stuck and am not sure how to get the handle out. Did you use the L shape metal piece to pry the handles out as well?

Tried using a flat head small screwdriver to press the latches but cannot budge la. Paiseh, but if only your metal clip works, I might need your professional assistance. Kopi/teh/Milo Peng on me.

Just installed mine too.

My unofficial instructions for removal

Tools required - narrow flathead screw driver

1. Pull down handle to expose plastic clips. Insert flathead screw driver into slot and twist or pry out plastic clips. They should be pulled out almost vertically towards you, assuming you are sitting in driver seat. Try not to damage the clips as you will need to use the same clips for your sunglass holder.

2. After removing both clips, time to remove handle. Instead of using all your strength to yank the handle down towards you by pulling on it, use your right palm to PUSH UP the base of the handle and at the same time, use your left hand to pull on the handle with a strong steady pressure. The handle should come out without having to use hulk strength.

3. Snap in the sunglass holder, push in the clips and viola, done.

Please note, I am not a professional and the above instructions should be used at your own risk. I'm just sharing what worked for my own vehicle.

Anyone wants to buy a grey C204 grab handle?:bounce:

No lah, but sharing is caring.

I was hoping to find some instructions online before I started but couldn't do so, so posted my own instructions after I managed to pull the handle out.

But I have to say the positioning of the holder is a bit awkward as it is behind your head. Taking your sunglasses out while driving or putting it in can be a bit dangerous, compared to other car models where the holder is in the centre middle.

That's becos this was designed as an afterthought from customers' complaints. It's cheaper to produce this instead of redesigning a whole new roof console.
