IMHO - 225/45/18 - the overall wheel circumference will be about >5% from your stock 15" or 16" tyres

A better choice will be 225/40/18 with about >1% more in wheel circumference from stock 15" or 15"

However there will be no marginal diff. in your speedometer readings!

Sorry for digging up this thread, but my ride is a second hand W203 so I want to make sure I get it right when I next change my tyres. I'm on 16", current tyres are 225/55/16. Is that the stock size?
