These few days weather very hot, if no aircon driving is no more pleasurable. Firstly do see if there is enough freon.

Yeah if problem with thermostat then will be good news, also see if compressor is engaged.

If compressor works, no problem with thermostat and freon level; you experience coldness only for a while and then no more cold air, then you may be in for a more touchy problem.

Car Aircon sometimes hot, most times cold. I playh around with the switches, it usually works again, but these few times, refuse to work.

sigh

when did you last change out your aircon condenser unit ? it might be completely clogged with dust and such hence the half hearted performance..

it also might be the dryer switch unit..

Thanks to everyone for their advice.

Followed KElvin's suggestion and headed to Zen Auto to fix the problem.

They seem pretty good and what they were doing and familiar with the 124.. there were always a couple of other around too.

trouble turned out to be a faulty thermostat.

Ah maan found out after tinkering with the relay and the switches.

changed to a new one and pumped some gas

total damage 85.

im a happy man again..
