My name is Jo from Hong Kong;

I am the owner of 1996 C36 AMG(Blue)

I am new in this forum;and I like to meet other W202 owners here and share pics;parts info with others.Hope we can take our car into next level

Meanwhile;I also have many other friends who owns an R129 W140 and W124 from many difference contries;these are well build timeless classic.

got any pictures of your car to post? i had a W202 C180 for 10 years before changing it to a W203..

your speedo, were you really hitting 300? or just recalibrating your meters?

300km is an easy things for C43 and C36;

I have a good friend here who owns a top condition C43 with best set up;is so much fun to drive;great handling.

Also a friend who is working on his C36 Twin Tubro with 5 speed manual transmission project will be finished within 2 weeks;

Would like to share more info with other W202 owners here;

Stock 280HP;

before 3000rpm drives like W202

from 3000-6500 rpm takes off like a jet.

first kick in 3500rpm;but you never know how much this engine can deliver

from 120-200k FAST

After 200k;this engine still going like never ended.

That my AMG experience with my C36.

No need to wish;just drop by;and I have better arrangment for your guys !!!

C36 is landmark of AMG;all hand build;over enginerring;

But still many issues need to improve.

Easy to park;great handling;small car with big engine;reasonable gas M;Plus a wild driver.

when it comes together;magic just happened.

More important;need a good owner.

More than 40 TOP on the line R129 in Thailand;and they are all my friends,

We all know what we wants;not to show off but have the best of what we could.

we don't have the C36 AMG model, but we do have a couple of C350s as active members..

Thanks for your quick answer;did not expected;

as W202;C43 has almost everythings we needed;

No much of problem;parts are not too $$$

There is only 5 C43 in HK;and few C36 in good condition;

Here is one for sale in HK at this moment;and seems like is a great condition.

Wow that is one helluva tight squeeze!! With good heat shields around the turbos and sufficient ventilation hopefully heat soak won't be a problem. Looks like it's gonna pack a very smooth and good midrange punch.
